Crossing the impressive Andean foothills and the old trasandean step toward Chile this tour is done by the No. 7 northwesterly route through limestone quarries. This is a historical route since it was the scene of one of the columns of the Liberation Army to Chile, example is the Monument Canota. We observe a unique landscape with its flora and fauna and breathtaking views of the Mendoza foothills continue to reach Caracoles Rout, passing by the traditional hotel with its gardens and walks. We will have a panoramic view from the top of the Caracoles rout from where spectacular views of the Cordillera and the nature reserve are obtained. Back to Mendoza.
