Of the seven arms that have Lake Nahuel Huapi, Blest is the most important. The landscape features along the Blest arm resembles the classic Norwegian fjords or the distant Fuegian channels. Puerto Blest area has lush vegetation, motivated by excessively wet weather. The entrance to Lake Nahuel Huapi, specifically, is extremely nice and unique as it is surrounded by the Centinela Island (where rests the remains of Perito Francisco P. Moreno) and the Capilla and Millaqueo hills. In the beginning of the trail, near the imposing mountain can be seen endless dense forests of cypress and evergreen trees, which stretch along the lake. In a second navigation we reach Puerto Cántaros, where a wooden staircase alongside the river to an approximate height of 600 meters, leading to the lagoon and to the Cántaros waterfall originated in the heart of the Valdivian jungle.
